We use YouTube a lot.

Like everyday. So, when my son said he wanted to make a Lego How-To video and put it on YouTube for all to see I was happy to help! He planned what to build and did the building. I filmed and then we learned together how to use Windows Movie Maker to edit it and add sound. He also told me that he wanted to show the build in super speed and then at normal speed. It took all day but we got it up! If you want to see it the link is below and keep reading to see our favorite YouTube Channels we subscribe to for learning about interesting topics!

Mini art classes for everyone! Miss 7's favorite class so far has been the imaginary creatures one.

So fun, so funny! We love the math parody songs (very catchy tunes) and the science videos. The Tornado, Earthquake and Volcano ones have been watched many times!

Dr. Binocs wears binoculars and maybe he's a brain or maybe he is just a floating mustache and beard but you can learn lots of things with him from microscopic bacteria to the solar system!

If you have a kid interested in baking like my Miss 7 is Ro is very fun to watch for the whole family! She makes really neat treats and is very silly.

These videos are short, sweet and full of scientific questions kids love to know the answers to like "What are boogers?".

Many of the animated videos on this channel answer questions to scientific queries of things you couldn't test yourself (What would happen if you were born in space?).

Videos on this channel cover science, math, writing and culture. The Superhero Science playlist is one of our favorites.

Animated Christian music!

These fun videos explain some complex scientific concepts like virus replication and cell division and make it fun for even 5 yr olds!

Have a kid interested in pet care? We love how responsible pet ownership is strongly stressed in these videos and she makes the cutest hamster homes!

We just love her music. It's a lot of fun to get moving to. Especially Rocketship Run.

These videos cover space science, earth science and engineering. Brightly animated and fun to watch.

I ADORE their alphabet songs! And so do my kids. But maybe not as much as I do. They really like the dinosaur songs.

A magician whose tricks are rarely gross or scary - unless you are easily grossed out or scared. Family friendly (he even wrote a children's book!) and for Mister 4 - who wants to be a magician/slash pilot - it's a fun channel. Here, watch a baby escape a crib - it's amazing.

Okay, it's not really educational and sometimes I don't even understand why they want to watch it but nothing brings my 3 kids together easier than Cookie Swirl C videos. And, I always know her videos are safe.
